Barnaby Joyce, an Australian politician said that if Amber Heard is guilty of committing perjury crime she should be in jail, during the visit to the country in the year 2015.
It seems like Amber Heard might face one more court trial very soon after a month she lost her extremely intense legal battle against her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.
Now the investigation against her is still going on for the perjury crime she did in Australia. As reports shows that in the year 2015, when she visited Queensland, Heard took her and her ex-husband’s two dogs with her without the custom declaration.
Amber Heard went to meet Johnny Depp in Australia while he was busy in his shooting for the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean 5’. She took their two Yorkshire Terriers, dogs named Pistol and Boo with her illegally.
Somehow, Amber has broken the strict rule of Australia. As thr country has a extremely strict 10 days quarantine rule for all the coming pets. And she broke Australia’s biosecurity and quarantine laws. That’s why the Rum Diary actress faced a trial in court for smuggling of dogs unlawfully.
After, Amber Heard admitted her crime in the Australian court her lawyer named Jeremy Kirk told the judge that Amber had no intention to break the law and she didn’t deceive the authorities purposely and it was her staffs negligence.
The lawyer Jeremy Kirk also told the court about the pet’s document that how they were skipped, while Amber was thinking that Johnny Depp’s staff had taken good care of the paperwork.
The former deputy Prime Minister said recently to the Sunrise that the Aquaman star is lying after committing a crime.
‘Those dogs, when they came in, there were a lot of documents that were signed that said there were no animals there. And it now looks like Ms Heard has allegedly not told the truth and it is perjury,’ he also told to the hosts Natalie Barr and Michael Usher.
Then he also spoke about the law, that Australia should have asked Amber Heard’s extradition as the US is seeking the extradition from Julian Assange, the owner of WikiLeaks facing spy charge.
“If they want Julian Assange, well we’ll take Amber and possibly Johnny and they can come over to Australia and spend some time at Her Majesty’s convenience.”
According to him it seems like something like that could never happen after this, and he believe in doing right things still.
“It really annoys me … when they say they wouldn’t extradite them if they perjured themselves,” He added. “Well, they put at risk our biosecurity. When they say things like, ‘Ah we’d never do that for this’, well what would you do it for? They broke the law.”
The host Natalie Barr questioned him about what could happen, Joyce replied her by saying,
“Well it’s up to the Americans. I suppose the US want to show the purity of it.”
“They are insisting on getting Julian Assange so it’s fair enough that any person who’s perjured themselves, committed a crime in Australia, should go back to Australia to serve their time because we’ve got to be fair dinkum and straight with both these things don’t we?”
“Let’s see how that goes. Maybe if we get them back in court, we can have a sequel.” He further added.
